The GUI client enables you to interact with TIE Integrator in a simple, easy-to-use manner. Administration, cross-referencing, and transformation tools are interactive and will help you get the most out of TIE Integrator.

The server side software actually moves your data and supports databases, EDI and XML formats, as well as traditional flat file formats. TIE Integrator also validates your documents, applies cross-references and business rules, and produces reports. The software is written in Java and is J2EE compliant, giving you a powerful, dynamic, non-proprietary scripting language that is fully scalable and portable.

The transaction tools assist the database in the rapid development of definitions and customization of transaction code used by the processing engine.
