How does eInvoicing work?

After selecting a secure communication your electronic invoice will travel though the TIE eInvoicing platform and then be transmitted to a predefined location. Invoice data can be transmitted and received in several different file formats. For questions regarding file configurations, please contact a representative for an extensive list of available file formats. After sending the invoice, it will arrive at its destination in two viewing formats; PDF and HTML. Both formats encapsulate the look and feel of the original document. Once modifications have been made to the document the approver authorizes the electronic invoice via a digital signature. The digital signature legally binds the individual with all revisions made to the electronic document.
